Groundswell is a registered charity that aims to enable homeless and vulnerable people to take more control of their lives, have a greater influence on services and to play a full role in the community.

The charity initially chose to use a Linux based server in an effort to reduce costs but its incumbent IT service provider was unable to solve an issue and so Groundswell turned to help4IT for assistance.


Accesspoint Technologies is a cloud and utility computing brokerage and solution provider, predominantly focused on helping enterprises within the legal and professional services sector achieve the immense benefits that cloud and utility computing platforms have to offer.

In late 2011, with demand for its services increasing, the firm decided to move from the shared Amazon EC2 platform into its own racks within a private data centre.

Metaforce Ltd launched its innovative 'Timekeeper' online workforce management solution in 2008 and the platform has grown consistently attracting high profile clients including Capita and YYYY.

The Software-as-a-Service platform was originally hosted at the Metaforce offices but in 2009, with the business growing steadily, it was felt that a professional third party hosting and management provider was needed.

Tring Park School

Tring Park School for the Performing Arts stands at the forefront of artistic specialist education in the UK. The school provides a unique community for talented young people, regardless of means or background, who have a passion for Dance, Drama, Musical Theatre or Music.

Using an economical balance of software tools and a clever design to reuse the schools existing server capacity, help4IT managed to deliver a reliable SAN solution within the tightest of budgets.
